The best way to save on your phone bill is to ditch phoning abroad direct with your telephone provider. BT charges exorbitant rates to international destinations. You can call overseas now from only 1p per minute.

All you need to do is find the access number for your destination and then call that number then your international number in full. You will be connected and will only pay that rate per minute instead of the BT rate per minute. BT will then charge you at the reduced rate and this will be payable to BT all your call provider. No need to sign up for the service or get out your credit card.

After dialling the access number the voice prompt will inform you of the rate per minute so you will be aware of the actual cost of the call per minute. The rate also includes VAT.
