Fake North Korea World Cup Fans
Today it was revealed that the supporters of the North Korea football team were hand picked by Kim Jong-il’s government. Some fans were even reported to be Chinese.
FIFA officials and millions of television viewers were surprised when rows of red -clad ‘North Koreans’ took their seats. North Korea has restricted its citizens to travel abroad so it would seem that conditions were relaxed for a select few.
One fan who spoke to reporters said that his group of 300 had been carefully selected from the North Korean government. The group sang the North Korean national anthem loudly but were no doubt given lessons before the flight to South Africa.
One placard read ‘ Kim-Jong-il thinks I am at work’ .
Unfortunately there isnt any great rates Mootel can offer to North Korea or shall I say The Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea.

Milkman dressed as cow receives MBE from Queen
The Queen gave an MBE to a man dressed as a cow yesterday, giving renewed hope to the immigrant Irish cow community that have set up businesses in the UK that they will one day be rewarded with such an honour.
Tony Fowler, 51, was awarded the MBE for his work as a milkman in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. During his 19 years delivering milk he has helped the local police catch criminals by keeping an eye out for suspicious behaviour. He also helps out local pensioners and provides whatever help he can.
Buckingham Palace aids were not impressed with his attire and asked him to tone down his outfit prior to his meeting with the UK monarch. Although there is no dress code regarding investitures, men are encouraged to wear business attire.
Mr Fowler intended to wear face pace, black trousers with white hoops stictched on the bottom and a tail. In the end he opted to drop these in favour of cow spotted jacket and normal black trousers.
It has been reported that the outfit had gone down well with the monarch who is a keen farmer and animal lover.
Lets hope that should Betsy receive an MBE one day for helping people save money on international calls, she won’t be asked to wear a dress to satisfy palace officials.
